Themes I have explored in my work are loss, transformation, symbolism, social status, patriotism/propaganda, and the passage of time. The work takes many forms, from three-dimensional objects to contemporary art quilts. I use both hi-tech and traditional tools. As an example, hand stitching with needle and thread may merge with digital photography and printing. My imagery is often an integration of abstraction and realism that renders the work both provocative and sensual.
