Every Quilt I make is a puzzle which must be solved. I enjoy piecing without patterns or sketches and letting the fabric talk to me, as well as pre-planned designs. I employ both machine and hand techniques for piecing, applique, and quilting. I am working on several series. My ongoing Rain Forest Series is full of rich colors and special threads. My Thorns series is based on a garden gone wild and includes applique and pieced work. I continue to explore new work based on my “Somewhere Else” works.
